Philip & Joanna - Scotland!

Philip & Joanna had an amazing wedding at the head of Loch Sheil near Fort William. It was a pleasure to photograph their wedding and to be so closely involved with their families at this very special and personal place to them. We were cared for by Brenda at Cuilcheanna Cottages who was a fabulous host, cooking the most amazing hearty breakfast and having quality accomodation with breathtaking views over the Loch!

Here are a few of my personal favourites from the day...

Jo fastened photographs of close relatives no longer here, who she missed dearly, to her bouquet...

Jo's mum Fran was fantastic making everyone who had made the epic journey from Yorkshire and South Wales feel so welcome...

The little church at the head of the loch was ideally placed for fabulous views of the mountains

Phil drinking in the mountain air!

A Piper greeted the happy couple outside church and proceeded to escort everyone round to the venue...

...and on the way we had quite a flurry of snow!

This is the view of the loch with Glenfinnan monument centre left and the wedding venue off to the right. If you look closely at this small image you can see the Bride & Groom!

and more snow...!

Jo & Phil partied on long into the night as the illuminated monument and the glow over the loch faded away...

Goa - India

We went to south Goa in Late January / early February. We love the people, the food and the climate out there! Here are just a couple of my favourite images from the trip...

A street seller in Margao:

A young girl entertaining people by walking the tight rope:

We made the 8 hour train journey to Hampi - this is a spectacular place where Indian pilgrims travel vast distances to come here to wash, bathe and worship by the river:

Classic Indian smiles:

This image was taken by my wife while on the train journey to Hampi. It is one of my favourite images of the trip - the little girls eyes are just mesmerizing...

Chris & Jo

Chris and Jo were married on an incredible wintery December day in Huddersfield. It was very wet... and very dark!

But we didn't let that spoil anything!!

Check out that water lying on the ground!

Everybody did so well - smiles all round despite the rain pouring down!

Some didn't even have brollies! But the guests still smiled as they got wet! If you look closely at this shot you can see the rain soaking this happy couple!

Jo arrived - as happy as anything - nothing was going to dampen her day... Good for you Jo!

It was still pouring when we arrived at Wood Hall near Wetherby...

And the wind was blowing!...

I got soaked taking the following shots of Chris & Jo at the front of Wood Hall. It was so wet and windy I couldn't even bring them to the front of the pillars - they had to stay protected in the doorway from the horizontal rain!

I could have done with underwater housings for my two Canon camera's! But the results were well worth the effort especially as it was nearly dark at this point!

The room looked amazing in candlelight...

Chris & Jo had a brilliant band playing some great classics that really got everyone partying into the night.
